All Renovation did a compete bathroom remodel for us in August 2005. This included completely gutting the old bathroom to the studs, carting away the debris, and replacing everything with the new fixtures and tiles we selected. Installing the new fixtures involved numerous plumbing projects, all of which were done professionally and have been in good repair since completion. During the project, the workers were very careful and tried to contain the mess as best as possible. Overall, we are very pleased with the results and get many compliments on the new bathroom. All Renovation was also helpful in choosing the layout for the tile work, as well as finding distributors in our area for fixtures and other items. We would definitely use All Renovation for future projects and strongly recommend them to others!”

I can’t say enough about the quality of work and service I received from All Renovation. The attention to detail was impeccable. Dealing with contractors is usually a nightmare, but I had quite the opposite experience. All Renovation was always on time for our meetings and truly cared about the outcome. Their price was reasonable and best of all, after a 6-month renovation, they finished on time. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire All Renovation again.”

I did not want another day to go by without thanking you for all of your extraordinary efforts in our renovation project. The results have far exceeded our expectations. You and your crew were so professional and easy to work with. We had none of the ‘horror stories’ so many people experience with contractors. Instead, we had a great level of communication and your good advice that enabled us to make the myriad decisions that came up everyday. We had complete confidence in your advice, even as things sometimes changed and shifted during the course of the renovation, as they always do. We especially appreciate your ability to integrate the many vintage and antique items we purchased into the design of our home. They are beautiful and unique and have the added advantage of being “green”.

We have already recommended you to others and would be happy to speak to anyone who needs a reference. Again, our many thanks for making our home so special.”

We did a full kitchen renovation with All Renovation and had a great experience. It was a big job with lots of moving parts and All Renovation did an excellent job of handling issues as they arose and kept everything running smoothly. Everything was completed on schedule and to our satisfaction, down to the last details, and there was no down time – just a hardworking crew in our home every day getting things done. It wasn’t dirt cheap but we were surprised at how little it ended up costing, and we love our new kitchen. We definitely will use All Renovation for our next project.”

Pietro and All Renovation did a renovation of our kitchen dining room area, and I cannot overstate how happy we were with all aspects of the work: from design to timely completion, they are top notch! We were put on to All Renovation by a family member who had used Pietro to do a major renovation of an old brownstone; they were thrilled by his work and recommended him to us without reservation. And Pietro did not disappoint. He brought an expert eye to our project, and paid close attention to those details which make a good renovation great – he went out of his way to preserve the original materials, such as baseboards, moldings, etc., and then to restore and use them. And even when he couldn’t preserve the original materials, he religiously preserved the original design elements. The quality of his work was outstanding, as were his employees.

They worked diligently, and finished the project – including significant on-the-fly changes – on time and on budget. I enthusiastically recommend Pietro and All Renovation!”

When Hiring a Contractor...Nine Questions to Ask

  1. Is the company licensed and insured? If they are not, and something goes wrong you may be held responsible.
  2. Did they provide at least 3 references with phone numbers? Pictures of projects?
  3. Did they show up to your appointment on time or at least call you if running late? Were they professional?
  4. Is their estimate itemized and for the same quality of services and labor? (apples to apples)
  5. Do they provide a written guarantee?
  6. How long has the company been in business?
  7. How strict are the companies hiring practices?
  8. Are they members of any national contractor organizations?
  9. Are they a company or a one man outfit? Many one man outfits are not organized enough to handle multiple projects.

Please do you homework. Don’t let your dream home become a nightmare!
